On the 23d of September 2010 at the meeting of the Government of St. Petersburg a program of harmonization of intercultural, interethnic and interreligious relations, educating culture of tolerance in St. Petersburg for 2011-2015 was considered and passed 
The international conference “Tolerance – a Common Value in the Age of Globalization”
On the 19th of November within the “Tolerance” program, as well as on the occasion of the International Tolerance Day an international scientific-practical conference took place. Questions of migration and teaching tolerance among the youth were the major topic.

On the 17th of September 2010 took place a regular meeting of the Consultation Council for affairs of national-cultural associations under the Government of St. Petersburg. The main topic was a discussion of the list of events of the new “Tolerance” program for the period of 2011 – 2015.

Festive events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Armenian diaspora in St. Petersburg have taken place today in the Concert Hall of Mariinsky Theater. The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and the Governor of St. Petersburg Valentina Matvienko took part in the festive evening.
